Meet Alister!

Hi there!

So there's a large gap between my first and second post, because I have been so busy enjoying my spring break and moving to my new apartment. Meanwhile, second quarter at my school has already started so I'm trying to make the most out of my school schedule and personal life. During the break I have been so busy shopping for the perfect sofa, and after seeing hundreds, I finally decided on the one I fell in love with first.
Her name is Alister. She was very expensive (hence my endless search for a second choice) but I couldn't find anything else I really wanted so I ended up ordering her. Turned out she was backordered, so I still have to wait until the end of May to get it. I got her at Z Gallerie and she's very different from all the sofas I've seen. She has very classic retro lines, especially with the button tufted back cushions. The most beautiful part that gives her a chic, contemporary look, is the fabric (in Brussels Sky Grey). It's woven unevenly, so it gives the sofa a rich, vibrant color, which fits perfectly inside my new loft!

It's Spring!

After 10 weeks of brainstorming, idea generation, 'concepting', executing, writing copy, making videos and everything in between, spring break is finally here! This first quarter at Miami Ad School has been amazing and I look forward to the next quarter, but first I am going to enjoy these coming weeks of doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

Spring is such a beautiful season and I always know that it's officially here when I get up and my nose feels itchy, my eyes are puffy and I sneeze like a crazy person. I guess my body tells me it's time for the flowers to come out! And not just the flowers in the garden, but also in my closet! Speaking of, last week I actually bought these great pair of shorts from Forever21. They look kinda off-white denim shorts with tiny pink flowers with green leafs on them. Its so girly, so pretty, and my butt looks awesome in them ;)

I've been also working out much more lately and now I'm trying to incorporate some morning runs into my schedule. I've tried it twice now and even though it's so hard to get out of bed and go running, I actually feel sooooo good afterwards! The first time I went running for half an hour and I came back sweating like a pig. Afterwards I took the dogs for a long walk, did some stretching and yoga and started cleaning the house. All before noon! I was so proud of myself, Gail, who used to wake up at 3pm. I'll see how it goes tomorrow :)

Ciaociao!
